Job Description

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a dedicated ERP Assistant to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential first-line support for the Odoo ERP system, ensuring its smooth operation across various departments including finance, sales, warehouse, and production.

Your key responsibilities will involve clearing backlog data entry, verifying and reconciling transactions, invoices, and stock movements to ensure the ERP system is fully up-to-date. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining master data for products, customers, and suppliers, and configuring and testing Odoo modules to support new rollouts.

Furthermore, you will contribute to building and customizing reports, preparing process documentation and user guides, and training staff on new system features. Collaboration with external Odoo partners for customizations and bug fixes, monitoring system performance, and supporting periodic data audits and closing activities will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line Odoo support to users across finance, sales, warehouse, and production
Clear backlog data entry, enter, verify, and reconcile historical and pending transactions, invoices, stock movements, and records
Maintain master data: products, customers, suppliers, bills of materials, and price lists
Configure and test Odoo modules; support new module rollouts and go-live activities
Build and customize reports and dashboards for management
Prepare process documentation and user guides; train staff on new features
Coordinate with external Odoo partners and developers on customizations and bug fixes
Monitor system performance, log issues, and escalate where needed
Support periodic data audits, stock counts, and month-end/year-end closing activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's or college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with ERP systems
Odoo experience is mandatory - functional configuration essential, technical exposure an advantage
Proven experience with high-volume, accurate data entry and reconciliation
Strong working knowledge of Odoo core modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning, imports)
Good written and spoken English
High attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
Able to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical users
Age between 25 and 35
Indian or Pakistani nationality
Currently in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama
